At just under an ounce, ourDyneema Rain Skirt Kit is your ticket to ultralight, ventilated weather protection in the outdoors. 

The rain skirt is kinda like rain pants, but better. They’re easier to get on/off, lighter, and much more breathable during sweaty activities like hiking.

Coupled with a sheet of Dyneema Composite Fabric, it’s also the most durable option for the weight.

Each Dyneema Rain Skirt Kit includes all the items (except thread) to make your own rain skirt. The skirt is designed be one size fits all (up to a 50″ waist).

1 yd – 0.51 oz Dyneema Composite Fabric (*if no fabric is selected, fabric will NOT be included)

(12″) 3/4″ Omnitape
(6 ft) 1/16″ Shock Cord Black
(1) mini cordlock  

This is an entry level project that any novice DIYer can take on. Estimated build time with between sizing and sewing is less than 30 minutes. Choose your Dyneema color above and get started! 

IMPORTANT NOTE – On cart page, the kit components and fabric will be shown as separate line items, but total price for the kit will remain the same. This is done to manage fabric inventory.  Please note that all kits are sold as a unit. We cannot sell components or any portion of the kit separately. You may purchase more than one kit, but multiple kits must be added to cart individually.
